ITHACA, N.Y. --- Cornell track and field kicked off 2016 with a highly competitive early January track meet in Barton Hall as the Big Red played host to strong teams from Harvard, Binghamton, Buffalo, Ithaca College, LeMoyne and St. John Fisher on Friday at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open. The Big Red men and women combined for 11 event wins, 24 ECAC/IC4A qualifiers and nearly 50 top five event finishes. With the academic semester resuming on January 27 the team now has several weeks of great training and competition ahead before classes begin. Complete results from today can be found here.
