ITHACA, N.Y. - Despite blustery and cold conditions at Penn's Franklin Field during the week, and at the Kane Sports Complex in Ithaca on Sunday, the Cornell women had a very successful week of track field. At the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, the Big Red came home with a championship wheel, a set of watches and a pair of medals, as the team produced 14 ECAC qualifying efforts and several changes to the all-time lists. The team added four more ECAC qualifiers to go along with a pair of event wins and more than 25 top-10 event finishes at the Big Red Invitational, which featured a dozen schools.
