Women s Track and Field Finishes Second at Beantown ChallengePublished by
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Cornell women put together a fine team performance at Harvard's Beantown Challenge, placing second in the six team field. With 134 points, the Big Red gave two-time defending Heps champion Harvard (with a winning total of 167) all they could handle and were well clear of Brown (75), UMass-Amherst (58), Northeastern (48) and Army (45). With three event wins, 8 ECAC qualifying performances and three changes to the school all-time top 10 lists, the Big Red saw contributions across the board in its first scored meet of the year.
